
Larry “Butch” Stephen Cox passed away at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Greenfield, IN on August 28, 2017 at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nola “Janie” (Kellam) Cox of Fortville; his daughter Amy (Malone) Cox and her husband, Bo of Indianapolis; his son Tim Cox and his wife, Jennifer of McCordsville; and his son Jason Cox and his wife, Kelly of Brunswick, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alex, Bailey, Macey, Brodey, Nola, Shannon, and Calvin.

Born in McCordsville, IN, the son of Wilbur and Rema (Apple) Cox, he was a lifelong resident of Fortville, IN. He was preceded in death by his both of his parents and his sister, Sharon (Davis) Cox. He is survived by his sister, Judy (Flach) Cox and her husband, Bob of McCordsville and his brother, Bob Cox and his wife Pam of Anderson.
Butch enjoyed working on cars and attending local car show events. A Celebration of Life will take place on September 9 beginning at 1 pm at his home in Fortville.
